#4 Week (Team Post)

PUC San Joaquin (23/April/2018)

On Monday, we had a class lectured by Pablo and Leo about how to make an elevator speech. We started by watching a video about edible cutlery and at the end we answer some questions. The idea was to understand how we can do a proper speech about our project, using some key topics:

  • Hook;
  • Needs;
  • Approach;
  • Benefits;
  • Competition;

After this class, all the groups went to the dome to have a personal coaching with Connie. In dome, we also worked in our project and we planned everything we had to do during this week: data analysis, research, create new interview protocols and forms and schedule our interviews and workshops.




IF Blanco Recoleta, Aguas Lab Space (24/April/2018)

We had the breakfast provided by group 2 and, at the same time, they did a activity with all the groups to see how connected we are. The activity consisted in interview 4 people (from other teams and other countries) and ask them their favorite color, band, food and hobby.

Later, we had a different activity proposed by Andrea, where we had to say to our team mates what we like about them and what we wish them to improve. It was very interesting and enriching since we got to know our strengths and what we need to work on. We also talked about the likes and wishes about the team itself.




In the afternoon, we went to domo to work on our project and plan some workshops and interviews. We also discuss about the pros and cons of our opportunity. Finally, we plan our visit to MIM – Museo Interactivo Mirador.


MIM – Museo Interactivo Mirador (25/April/2018)

The next day, our group went to MIM museum with three elders and three mediators (young persons). The idea was to observe how they interact with each other, how the elders react to the different activities in the museum and how the mediators feel when thay have to (or need to) help the elders.

In the end of the visit, we did a “post interview” to the elders and the mediator, to get some feedback about what they thought about the museum and all the activities.




In the afternoon, we had a class with Connie where we saw some presentations. In the presentations the students talked about the personas created, the data of the interviews, their opportunity and possible solutions. At the end, they were given some feedback

After the class, our group did a small reunion to talk and analyze the information about the MIM museum


Domo (23/April/2018)

On Thursday, we didn’t have formal classes. Instead, we meet in the Domo to work in the project. Andrea gave us some feedback about our opportunity and our work we’ve been doing until now.

In the afternoon, Sofia, Jose Tomas, Levi and Luciano went to Caja Los Andes. We did some small interviews to the elders and observe what they were doing.
